Punishing Gray Raven (PGR) developer Kuro Games hosted a special livestream on April 27 detailing their upcoming collaboration with Devil May Cry 5 (DMC5). The crossover will introduce DMC5 characters to PGR's CN server through limited-time banners and an exclusive storyline event.
The collaboration was initially teased during PGR's fifth anniversary livestream in late 2024, featuring glimpses of DMC5's Dante and Vergil as potential new playable characters. The recent stream confirmed these additions along with further event details.
Kuro Games announced that the PGR x DMC5 crossover will launch exclusively on China servers starting May 22. No release dates have been confirmed for other regions at this time.
Free Dante Character and Limited Banners
Players can obtain Dante's Omniframe for free by completing Chapter 6 of the special collaboration storyline. Vergil's Omniframe will be exclusively available through limited-time event banners.
The event will feature four special banners: Dante Rate Up, Fate Dante Rate Up, Vergil Rate Up, and Fate Vergil Rate Up. During the event period, summons will cost only 175 Black Cards per attempt.
The first two Dante or Vergil character pulls will include bonus duplicates delivered via in-game mail - pulling one copy grants an extra copy, while pulling two copies grants two additional ones. This bonus system applies only to the initial two pulls.
Punishing Gray Raven is available on iOS and Android across five regions: China (CN), Taiwan (TW), Japan (JP), Korea (KR), and Global (GL). In November 2024, developers announced plans to synchronize global server updates with CN servers by late 2025 through accelerated content releases.
