If you've been tracking the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2025, you know that after three intense days of competition, seven teams have officially clinched their tickets to the Grand Finals in Bangkok. With just nine slots left, every other squad faces the most pressure-packed two weeks of their season.
This climactic showdown arrives at a perfect time for PUBG Mobile, fresh from being named Esports Mobile Game of the Year at the 2025 Esports Awards. As for the competition itself, the Gauntlet Stage was a true rollercoaster ride.
ThunderTalk Gaming forced everyone to reconsider their tactics on Day One, with Madbulls and R8 Esports hot on their heels. Day Two intensified the fray: ThunderTalk extended their lead, Kara Esports powered into contention, and Alpha7 steadily accumulated points to remain a serious threat.
By Day Three, the standings were so close that every strategic rotation became a critical, make-or-break decision. Kara Esports finished with a massive 141 points, Madbulls trailed closely with 140, and ThunderTalk wrapped up just behind the leaders with 147. But when the final scores were tallied, it was R8 Esports who emerged on top – securing 154 points, two Chicken Dinners, and drawing everyone's attention.
They will be joined in the Finals by DRX, Alpha7, and the rest of the seven qualified teams. Meanwhile, the remaining squads enter the Group Stage, where 32 teams are divided into Green and Red groups. They will compete from November 28th-30th and December 2nd-4th, with only three teams from each group advancing directly.
The middle-ranked teams get one final opportunity in the Last Chance Stage on December 6th-7th. And after that? It's on to Bangkok. A shot at the trophy. A share of the $3,000,000 prize pool. A chance to make history.
