With the new album available for preorder, Sabrina is set to shift from virtual peacemaker to real-world chart-topper once again this year—at least in my view.
Since adding the pop star back in April 2025, Epic Games continues experimenting to keep Fortnite engaging. Whether through superhero seasons, that unconventional Star Wars mode without ammo, or the new Blitz Royale trial, they’re trying everything.
Player counts dipped after last year’s chaotic peaks, which featured Squid Game maps, Doctor Doom boss fights, Times Square concerts, and in-game performances by Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Ice Spice, and the late Juice Wrld. But momentum is building again.
Will this help Fortnite regain ground from popular Roblox titles like "Grow a Garden"? Time will tell. If bringing Sabrina Carpenter into the game sparked a revival, Epic is certainly happy to ride that wave a bit longer.
