New Pokémon Debuts:
Two new Pokémon make their grand entrance: Shroodle and its evolution, Grafaiai. Shroodle can be hatched from 12 km Eggs.
Team GO Rocket Rampage:
Expect increased Team GO Rocket activity at PokéStops and in balloons. This provides ample chances to utilize Charged TMs to remove the Frustration attack from your Shadow Pokémon.
Shadow Pokémon Encounters:
A fresh batch of Shadow Pokémon are available, including Shadow Taillow, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Trubbish, and Bunnelby. Keep your eyes peeled for Shiny variations! For the first time, you can participate in these Shadow Raids remotely using Remote Raid Passes.
A special research task will lead you to a Super Rocket Radar, culminating in a battle with Giovanni to save Shadow Palkia. Field Research tasks offer rewards like Mysterious Components, Charged TMs, and Fast TMs. Complete a Collection Challenge for Stardust and a Trubbish encounter. Ho-Oh Shadow Raid Day:
On January 19th, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, participate in Ho-Oh Shadow Raid Day! Enjoy extra Raid Passes, increased Shiny Ho-Oh encounter rates, and the chance to teach your Ho-Oh the devastating Sacred Fire Charged Attack. A $5 event ticket unlocks even more rewards.
