Pokémon Go Unveils $100 Upgrade for Premium Bathroom Access

Author : Lily May 27,2025

Pokémon Go has introduced a new $100 Premier Access ticket upgrade for its upcoming Go Fest: Jersey City event, enhancing the experience with both in-game perks and improved real-world facilities, including "upgraded restrooms."

Go Fest, the game's flagship summer event, is set to take place at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, as well as in Paris, France, and Osaka, Japan. Attendees of the Jersey City event can now elevate their experience with this $100 Premier Access add-on, as announced by developer Niantic, which promises a suite of exclusive benefits.

PlayThink of it as a Business Class upgrade for the event; those opting for Premier Access will have access to a dedicated lounge featuring "upgraded restrooms, portable charger kiosks with lockers, and seating to recharge yourself for your next adventure." While the specifics on the restroom upgrades remain undisclosed, they promise to be a step above what's available to standard attendees.

Premier Access holders will also enjoy fast-track entry to the event's Pokémon Center Pop-Up Store, allowing them to bypass the often lengthy queues and spend more time exploring and catching Pokémon rather than waiting in line.

The highlight of the Premier Access upgrade, however, is the substantial collection of in-game items it offers. With 100 Premium Battle Passes, 100 Super Incubators, 20 Max Particle Packs, and more, the value of these items alone could exceed $300 if purchased separately. Here's a comprehensive list of the included items:

  • 100 Poké Balls
  • 100 Great Balls
  • 100 Ultra Balls
  • 50 Silver Pinap Berries
  • 100 Super Incubators
  • 10 Lucky Eggs
  • 10 Incense
  • 10 Star Pieces
  • 10 Lure Modules
  • 10 Glacial Lure Modules
  • 10 Magnetic Lure Modules
  • 10 Mossy Lure Modules
  • 10 Rainy Lure Modules
  • 100 Premium Battle Passes
  • 20 Max Particle Packs
  • 5 Max Mushrooms

Additionally, Premier Access ticket holders will receive an exclusive enamel pin badge as a keepsake.

The response to this new ticket option has been varied. Some players are taken aback by the high cost, pointing out that Pokémon Go has never offered such a premium upgrade before, especially at a time when the game is introducing more monetization options. Conversely, others see the value in the extensive list of in-game items and believe it will appeal to those with the disposable income to enhance their Go Fest experience after already committing to travel and entry fees.

IGN has reached out to Niantic for clarification on whether this Premier Access offer will be available at other Go Fest locations.

Pokémon Go Fest 2025 is scheduled for the weekend of May 29 in Osaka, June 6 in Jersey City, and June 13 in Paris. This year's event will feature the debut of the Legendary creature Volcanion and the broader release of the Mexican regional exclusive, Hawlucha.
