Given Premium includes all Extra features plus classic games, game trials, and cloud streaming, Premium is the better value at this price point. However, remember to disable auto-renewal to avoid higher charges after the discount period ends. This offer is not stackable with existing memberships, and cancelling your current membership won't make you eligible. If your subscription expires after February 24th, you'll miss out.
The deal excludes the UK and some other regions, and the Essential tier is also not included, reflecting Sony's focus on higher-tier discounts. Essential members can upgrade at a prorated rate, but there's no standalone discount for 12-month Essential subscriptions.
This discount coincides with the February PlayStation Plus Game Catalog reveal, featuring titles like Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Top Spin 2K25, and Lost Records: Bloom & Rage – Tape 1. Premium members also gain access to classic games such as Patapon 3 and Dropship: United Peace Force.
