Author : Grace May 02,2025

Sony has announced that a PlayStation State of Play stream is scheduled for tomorrow, February 12, at 2pm Pacific / 5pm Eastern / 10pm UK. This eagerly anticipated event will run for over 40 minutes and will be available in both English and Japanese on the official PlayStation YouTube and Twitch channels.

While Sony hasn't revealed the lineup of games yet, the PlayStation Blog teases that the show will feature "a creative and unique selection of exciting games from studios around the world." Fans are particularly eager for an extended look at Sucker Punch's Ghost of Yotei, and many are hoping for a release date announcement for Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.

There's also anticipation for an official reveal of the release date trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, following last week's leak on the PlayStation Store.

While it might be a bit early to expect updates on Insomniac's Wolverine or Naughty Dog's Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, there are other titles fans are keen to hear more about. Phantom: Blade Zero, an exclusive action RPG from Chinese studio S-Game, promises thrilling sword combat, and fans are eager to learn its release date. Additionally, Bungie's Marathon and Haven's Fairgames, both multiplayer shooters, have caught the community's attention, especially in light of Sony's recent handling of the Concord situation.

With March marking the 10th anniversary of Bloodborne, there's a glimmer of hope that Sony might have something special planned for the occasion.

We're also on the lookout for potential new game reveals and surprises. Amid swirling rumors, could this be the day Halo finally makes its debut on PlayStation?
