Indie developer Theo Clarke's new game, Plantoons, transforms your backyard into a vibrant battle arena. Sharing similarities with Plants vs. Zombies, Plantoons offers a unique tower defense experience with a playful twist.
The Plantoons Gameplay:
In Plantoons, your garden becomes a gladiator-style battlefield where plants wage war against waves of mischievous weeds. Unlike static plant placements, you'll strategically level up and upgrade your plant warriors to withstand increasingly aggressive weed invasions.
Gameplay begins by selecting a plant from your arsenal and deploying it on the battlefield. Your objective: defend against escalating weed attacks (hopefully less menacing than their zombie counterparts!).
Progressing through Plantoons rewards you with cards that enhance your plant army. These cards offer various boosts, including attack power, defensive fortifications, and increased pollen production. Strategic plant placement within the meadow is key to building an effective defensive line.
Each plant possesses unique abilities and stats. Completing challenges expands your Card Bank, allowing for customized deck building and strategic setup enhancements.
