The Partner/Indie World Showcase Delivered a Treasure Trove of Announcements
Combining two smaller Directs into one was a smart move, resulting in a flurry of game announcements. While I can't cover everything here, some standout highlights included shadow drops that we'll discuss in the New Releases section, Capcom Fighting Collection 2, the Suikoden I & II remakes, Yakuza Kiwami, Tetris Forever, MySims, Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Edition, and new entries in the Atelier and Rune Factory series, among others. With such a diverse array of games, I recommend setting aside time to watch the full video and discover what catches your eye.

Castlevania Dominus Collection ($24.99)
Among the exciting shadow drops from the Direct was the third Castlevania collection, featuring the beloved Nintendo DS titles: Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin, and Order of Ecclesia. Additionally, it includes the arcade game Haunted Castle and a fantastic remake by M2. Known for their meticulous emulation and comprehensive features, this collection offers incredible value at its price point.
Pizza Tower ($19.99)
This Wario Land-inspired platformer makes its way to the Switch via a shadow drop from the Direct. Navigate through five expansive floors of the Pizza Tower to destroy it and save your restaurant. Fans of Wario's handheld escapades or anyone who enjoys fast-paced platforming should definitely check this out. We're looking forward to reviewing it soon.
Goat Simulator 3 ($29.99)
Another shadow drop graces our Wednesday lineup. If you're familiar with Goat Simulator, you know what to expect. While performance on more powerful consoles can be hit or miss, the Switch version might embrace the game's chaotic charm. Whether it's a smooth ride or a buggy adventure, it's sure to provide some laughs with its silly goat antics.
Peglin ($19.99)
Although Electronic Arts missed the opportunity to bring Popcap's games to the Switch, Peglin fills that void for Peggle enthusiasts. This blend of Peggle and a turn-based RPG roguelite has been a hit on mobile, and it's just as engaging on the Switch. Stay tuned for our upcoming review for more insights.
Doraemon Dorayaki Shop Story ($20.00)
Kairosoft refreshes its simulation game formula by incorporating the beloved Doraemon franchise. Doraemon Dorayaki Shop Story offers a familiar shop sim experience with the charm of the manga and anime series. You might even spot characters from other works by the creator, making it a delightful addition for fans.
Pico Park 2 ($8.99)
For those who can't get enough of Pico Park, the sequel offers more puzzle-solving fun with up to eight players in local or online multiplayer. It's perfect for fans looking for more of the same cooperative gameplay, though it may not attract new players.
Kamitsubaki City Ensemble ($3.99)
