In a major announcement at Gamescom 2025, sci-fi RPG shooter Nikke: Goddess of Victory revealed its partnership with the action-horror series Resident Evil (RE). The collaboration confirms that fan-favorite protagonist Jill Valentine will join the battlefield in her iconic outfit from the 2020 Resident Evil 3 remake."The identity of the short-haired woman revealed at the end of the teaser is none other than Jill Valentine, an iconic protagonist from the Resident Evil series," stated publisher Level Infinite in their official press release. "Could other popular Resident Evil characters be joining the fight next?"
The accompanying trailer also hinted at additional appearances from the RE universe within the Nikke crossover. Silhouettes of other characters were observed interacting with or standing alongside Nikkes Poli, Killer D, and the Commander (the player character), each drawn into mysterious supernatural occurrences.
"Almost certain that the other character appearing in the PV is Ada Wong (the scene where she appears clearly references RE4)," noted an enthusiastic fan on Twitter, referencing Ada Wong’s reunion with series protagonist Leon Kennedy in Resident Evil 4.
