NetEase Announces the EOS of Dead by Daylight Mobile

NetEase's popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile, is officially ending its run. After four years, the Android version will be shutting down on March 20th, 2025. This news comes as a surprise to many fans of the 4v1 survival horror title, a mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's successful PC and console game. While the mobile version is closing, the PC and console versions will remain active.

Dead by Daylight Mobile, released in April 2020, offered players the thrilling experience of playing as either a Killer or a Survivor. Killers hunt and sacrifice Survivors to The Entity, while Survivors must evade capture and escape.

Dead by Daylight Mobile's End of Service (EOS) Timeline:

  • January 16th, 2025: The game will be removed from app stores.
  • March 20th, 2025: Servers will shut down completely.

Players who already have the game installed can continue playing until the final shutdown date. NetEase will provide information regarding refunds on January 16th, 2025, adhering to regional laws.

For those wanting to continue their Dead by Daylight experience, the PC and console versions offer a welcoming package for new players transferring from the mobile game. Loyalty rewards will be granted to players who have spent money or accumulated experience points in the mobile version.
