.MythWalker has just been updated with exciting new quests and several useful bug fixes. NantGames confirmed earlier today that players can now delve deeper into the game's lore and even teleport to a famous real-world landmark.
New Quests Take Center Stage in MythWalker
The latest quests expand the narrative, introducing you to some of Mytherra's most dangerous adversaries. This new chapter focuses primarily on the Drakates.
The Drakates are a mysterious race of reptilian warriors, spellcasters, and technicians. This update also reveals more about their origins and motivations, establishing them as more than just random enemies.
You'll also lend a hand to Madra 'Mads' Maclachlan, a storekeeper working to protect Hyport's supply routes from bandits and monsters.
Mads has formed an alliance with a goblin group called the Hobs. These mischievous tricksters are fond of pranks and are equally adept with explosives, making them both valuable and highly unpredictable allies.
A Pirate's Life for You?
The new MythWalker quests introduce a heavy dose of piracy. A fresh questline features the blacksmith Gem Stanna, who is facing serious trouble from Calypso's Corsairs.
Calypso's Corsairs are a notorious pirate crew, known throughout the lands as both feared villains and legendary heroes. You'll get to experience pirate traditions from various cultures while confronting them.
Beyond the new quests, this update also addresses some persistent issues. Teleportation has been stabilized, so personal portals should now function correctly during quests. The game also provides clearer information about portal energy levels after each teleport.
For those new to the game, MythWalker is a geolocation-based fantasy RPG that blends the real world with the mythical realm of Mytherra. You can embark on real-world adventures or explore from home using Navigators and Portal Energy.
