Huynh apologized for the unmet expectations of fans whose desired characters weren't included, expressing hope that they'll still find enjoyment in the final Season 5 content. He also explained the complex factors influencing character selection, clarifying his own limited control over these decisions.
The shutdown announcement further fueled frustration, particularly regarding the inability to spend in-game tokens on new characters – a key incentive for purchasers of the premium $100 edition. This unfulfilled promise may have contributed to the escalation of threats.
