You can either start a new random life and hope for a male character, continue with an existing male character, or create a custom life and select male as your gender. Work as a Mail Carrier for 15+ Years
Once you've grown up and avoided legal troubles, look for the Mail Carrier job in the full-time job listings after high school graduation. If you don't have a criminal record, you should be able to secure the position easily.
If the Mail Carrier job isn't available, take any job to earn money and check back after aging up. It might take a few tries, but persistence will pay off. Once you're a mail carrier, hold the job for at least 15 years, which you can monitor through the challenge tracker at the top of your screen.
