Monster Hunter Now's Season 5: The Blossoming Blade is almost here! Niantic has unveiled all the exciting details for this upcoming season, launching March 6th, 2025. Prepare for new challenges, weapons, a Season Pass, and formidable monsters.
Pre-Season Sneak Peek:
Before Season 5 officially begins, a special treat awaits! The Chatacabra makes its debut on February 28th, preceding its appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. Upon Season 5's launch, Glavenus and Arzuros will also join the hunt.
Weapon Enhancements:
Expect balance adjustments to enhance the viability and enjoyment of all weapon types. The Sword & Shield receives a buff, improving its ability to target weak points like tails. The Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will now reward precise timing with increased power and more satisfying combos.
The Guard skill is also receiving a significant upgrade. Previously, leveling Guard had minimal impact, but now, higher skill levels will noticeably reduce damage taken while blocking. Further details on additional weapon tweaks will be included in the full patch notes on March 6th.

Celebrating Monster Hunter Now's 1.5-Year Anniversary on March 17th, a new trading feature arrives. Hunters can exchange special materials obtained from hunts and events for valuable rewards, including Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards.
