- Monster Hunter Now is rolling out beta testing for Exploration Bases, a brand new cooperative gameplay mechanic
- Team up with fellow hunters to enhance strategic bases located at iconic real-world landmarks
- The MH Now Summer Hunt 2025 introduces limited-time premium content for dedicated players
Monster Hunter has always thrived on multiplayer experiences, and Niantic's AR adaptation takes it further with Exploration Bases - an innovative co-op feature set to transform Monster Hunter Now's social gameplay.
These Exploration Bases (currently in beta) function as player-built hubs at notable locations that communities can collaboratively develop. While reminiscent of Pokémon Go's Gyms conceptually, this system offers deeper engagement beyond simple visits.
To celebrate the feature test, a special Azure Rathalos outbreak runs July 19-20. Participate to earn unique rewards while providing valuable developer feedback. Visit the official MH Now blog for complete details.

The Hunt Continues
While Exploration Bases attract most players, hardcore hunters can anticipate MH Now Summer Hunt 2025: Sea of Monsters - a premium event introducing elder dragon Namielle on July 26-27.
Ticket holders gain exclusive benefits including instant access to Elder Dragon hunts and dedicated Namielle encounters. The purchase also removes cooldown periods for high-level Hunt-a-thons.
