Lilith Games' military strategy MMO, Warpath, receives a significant naval expansion. This update introduces a comprehensive Naval Force system boasting nearly 100 meticulously detailed and realistically modeled vessels.
Warpath's Navy Update Deployed
Players can now command powerful warships, each mirroring real-world counterparts in capabilities. The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier provides long-range aerial dominance, while the Project 971 submarine excels in stealth ambushes. The Arleigh Burke-class destroyer delivers precise, devastating guided missile strikes.
The Naval Force is categorized into six distinct combat roles:
- Submarines: Masters of stealth, utilizing "Silent Running" for covert operations.
- Anti-Submarine Frigates: High-speed hunters, specifically designed to counter submarines.
- Aircraft Carriers: Long-range powerhouses, launching devastating air strikes.
- Anti-Aircraft Destroyers: Defend against aerial threats while also engaging surface targets.
- Armored Destroyers: Slow but heavily armored, acting as frontline damage sponges.
- Guided Missile Destroyers: Long-range specialists, ideal for eliminating enemy bases from a distance.

Strategic depth is enhanced through carefully balanced ship interactions. Submarines can ambush carriers, but risk detection by swift frigates. Armored destroyers absorb damage, while missile destroyers provide long-range firepower.
Further Enhancements
Naval combat pacing has been refined, adjusting attack and defense values for increased tactical depth. Ships can now fire while moving. Exclusive in-game events run throughout January to celebrate the update.
