Metal Gear Solid 4: Next-Gen Arrival?
Konami producer Noriaki Okamura, in a recent IGN interview, acknowledged the significant fan interest surrounding a potential Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (MGS4) remake or port. While remaining non-committal about concrete plans, Okamura's comments strongly suggest the possibility of its inclusion in Master Collection Vol. 2. He stated that Konami is aware of the demand but is currently focused on internal planning for the series' future.
The PS3 exclusive title's potential inclusion in Master Collection Vol. 2 is highly anticipated, given the success of Vol. 1, which brought remastered versions of MGS 1-3 to various platforms. Further fueling speculation, placeholder buttons for MGS4, MGS5, and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker appeared on Konami's official timeline, leading many to believe these titles will be part of Vol. 2. David Hayter, the English voice actor for Solid Snake, also hinted at involvement in an MGS4-related project, adding to the excitement.
