Unravel the mystery of your father's disappearance in "My Father Lied," a captivating point-and-click adventure launching May 30th!
Ahmed Alameen, a writer and filmmaker, presents his debut game, a narrative-driven puzzle adventure drawing inspiration from Mesopotamian history. Step into the shoes of Huda, a young woman who, after discovering a long-hidden brother, embarks on a quest to uncover the truth behind her father's vanishing twenty years prior.
Alameen, initially collaborating on the project, took the reins after the team dissolved, mastering game design to bring his vision to life. The gameplay features classic point-and-click mechanics, challenging you to piece together images, decipher codes, and explore breathtaking, albeit uniquely rendered, environments. The game blends the atmospheric styles of Myst and Heaven's Vault, infused with the literary flair of H.P. Lovecraft.
Alameen's innovative approach utilizes a mix of 2D and 360-degree imagery, even in the meticulously crafted frame-by-frame cutscenes. This technique ensures stunning visuals while maintaining compatibility with lower-end PCs.
"My Father Lied" will be available on May 30th for $10.99/€ on the App Store, Google Play, and Steam. Add it to your Steam Wishlist now! Mobile pre-registration isn't yet available.
