Marvel Rivals welcomes an unexpected crossover: the Advanced Suit 2.0 from Marvel's Spider-Man 2!
PlayStation announced this exciting collaboration on X/Twitter, showcasing NetEase Games' rendition of this iconic suit for their hero shooter. Originally designed by Insomniac Games for Marvel's Spider-Man, the Advanced Suit 2.0, with its distinctive white spider emblem, has appeared in all three games of the series. This collaboration marks a surprising partnership between Sony and NetEase.
Arriving in the in-game store on January 30th – the same day Marvel's Spider-Man 2 launches on PC – this suit adds a unique element to Marvel Rivals' already impressive roster of unlockable outfits. Adding to its appeal, the Advanced Suit 2.0 will once again feature the voice talents of Yuri Lowenthal, the voice actor for Peter Parker in Insomniac's Spider-Man trilogy and also in Marvel Rivals.
This addition complements the recent launch of Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, which introduced Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman as playable characters, with The Thing and Human Torch soon to follow. Creative director Guangyun Chen has promised at least one new hero every six weeks.
