Marvel Rivals Season 1 Mid-Season Update: No Rank Reset!
Confusion surrounded a potential rank reset in the upcoming Marvel Rivals update, prompting clarification from NetEase Games. Initially, a mid-season rank reset was planned for February 21st, 2025, coinciding with the release of The Thing and Human Torch. However, due to significant player feedback expressing concern over the frequency of resets, NetEase reversed course.
The Marvel Rivals team announced that there will be no rank reset at the start of the second half of Season 1. Players will retain their existing ranks and scores. To earn new rewards, including a Gold rank costume and various Crests of Honor, players simply need to complete 10 competitive matches and meet specific conditions by the season's end. This decision showcases NetEase's responsiveness to community concerns.
