What Is the Release Date for Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree?
Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree is set to launch on April 17, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Its initial release window was December 2023, but that target was not met.
The delay appears to have been met with understanding from the game's backers. Developer Primal Game Studio maintained transparent communication, and some backers even participated in a closed beta. Unlike many troubled crowdfunding projects, the comment sections are not flooded with demands to invoke Kickstarter's Terms of Use.
In the game, players must combat a force known as "Entropy" in a desperate attempt to save a world spiraling toward its end. Whether you can succeed in saving this grim, decaying world remains a tense and uncertain struggle.

Contrary to some phrasing on the Steam store page, the pre-order bonuses themselves are not exclusive to the Deluxe Edition. Unlike many AAA publishers who restrict preview access to higher-tier editions, both editions of Mandragora grant access to Game Preview 1 and the upcoming Game Preview 2.

Is Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree Available for Console Pre-Order?
Currently, Mandragora is not available for pre-order on consoles. While the game is listed on PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo storefronts, no pre-order option is active. This may change ahead of the April 17 release date. However, since the game preview is PC-based, any future console pre-order bonuses are unlikely to include early preview access.
Will Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree Receive a Physical Release?
In the modern gaming landscape, physical releases for PC games are exceedingly rare, with nearly all titles being distributed digitally through platforms like Steam, Epic Games Store, or GOG. But what about a physical console edition for Mandragora? The answer is a mix of good and bad news.
The good news is that a physical version for console and, surprisingly, for PC does exist. The bad news is that, for now, it was exclusively offered as a $79 tier through the game's Kickstarter campaign, which has since concluded.
