Played By A Live Orchestra

The Men’s Louis Vuitton Fall-Winter Fashion Show kicked off with the majestic "One-Winged Angel," the signature theme of Final Fantasy 7's notorious villain, Sephiroth. This iconic track was performed live by an orchestra, setting a dramatic tone as models showcased the latest luxury designs on the runway.

Pharrell Williams, serving as the show's creative director, curated the soundtrack. While the rest of the playlist leaned towards pop with artists like The Weeknd, Playboy Carti, Don Toliver, and K-POP stars SEVENTEEN and BTS' j-hope, "One-Winged Angel" stood out distinctly. Composed by the legendary Nobuo Uematsu, it's the only track Pharrell did not contribute to directly. His choice might reflect a personal appreciation for the tune or a nod to his affinity for the Final Fantasy series.

For those eager to witness this fusion of fashion and gaming culture, the livestream is accessible on the Louis Vuitton official YouTube channel.

Square Enix Is More Than Happy To Hear The News

Square Enix, the creators of Final Fantasy 7, expressed their delight on the official Final Fantasy 7 X (Twitter) account. They shared, "We're more than happy to hear music director Pharrell Williams and team have included One-Winged Angel in the Louis Vuitton Men Fall-Winter 2025 Fashion Show!" alongside a link to the video, showcasing their surprise and joy at the unexpected feature.

Final Fantasy 7 remains one of the most beloved entries in the long-standing Final Fantasy series, captivating gamers with the epic tale of Cloud Strife and his quest to save the world from the megacorporation Shinra and the once-celebrated SOLDIER, Sephiroth. Launched in 1997, it has become a nostalgic cornerstone for many players worldwide.

The game's resurgence began with a surprise trailer at E3 2015, followed by a gameplay showcase at PlayStation Experience later that year. The Final Fantasy 7 Remake Project, envisioned as a trilogy, is reimagining the classic with updated graphics, new content, revamped combat systems, and expanded storylines. Currently, the third installment is in development.

The first part of this trilogy, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. The sequel, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, is exclusive to PlayStation 5, with a PC version set to launch on Steam on January 23rd.
