Kemco's new visual novel, Together We Live, offers a poignant post-apocalyptic tale exclusively on Android. Already available on Steam, this narrative explores themes of human sin and the arduous path to redemption.
A Journey of Atonement
The story follows Kyoya, who awakens in a dimly lit room in the year 4000, two millennia removed from his last memory. He discovers a desolate Earth and encounters a mysterious girl burdened by a heavy mission. This girl is trapped in a cycle of repeated death and rebirth, endlessly atoning for humanity's transgressions. Kyoya's witnessing of this brutal cycle inspires him to share the concept of happiness with her.
The narrative's pacing may initially seem slow, but the plot gradually unfolds, revealing significant twists and cleverly interwoven details that initially appear insignificant.

A Thought-Provoking Experience
Unlike many visual novels, Together We Live eschews player choice, presenting a linear, interactive story. Its simple yet appealing art style complements the emotionally resonant narrative, effectively blending beauty and sorrow. The girl's fully voiced performance adds depth and a haunting quality to the experience. Currently available in English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese, the game lacks controller support and is priced at $9.99 on the Google Play Store. Google Play Pass subscribers can access it for free.
