Blackmailing him is not advisable due to the challenging Speech check and immediate quest conclusion.
Opting to help Markold involves killing three miners, which yields a mere 60 groschen, making it the least desirable outcome. Instead, I recommend siding with the miners. Deliver the letter to Markold, receive seven groschen, and proceed to meet the miners north of the city. At the camp, speak with Myslibor, and when Markold attacks, assist the miners in defeating him.
