J.C. Lee, the daughter of the iconic Marvel creator Stan Lee, has broken her silence in an exclusive interview with Business Insider, firmly denying previous allegations of elder abuse directed at both her father and her late mother, Joan. The accusations, which surfaced in 2017 following Joan's passing, were extensively detailed in a 2018 article by The Hollywood Reporter (THR). The THR piece portrayed J.C. Lee as someone who allegedly pressured her parents for money and control over their assets, leading to heated confrontations. It included claims of verbal and physical altercations, supported by a photo of a bruise on Joan Lee's arm, which J.C. Lee vehemently denies.

In her recent interview, J.C. Lee categorically refuted these accusations, stating they were "a lie." She explained her decision to remain silent during the initial allegations, following the advice of those around her, a choice she now regrets. "You think I haven't regretted it to this day?" she remarked, emphasizing the falsehood of the claims against her, particularly the photo evidence. "That photo is insane. I never did it," she asserted.

While admitting to having had heated arguments with her parents over financial matters, J.C. Lee was firm in her assertion that she never engaged in physical altercations. "I never ever touched my parents," she stated, distancing herself from the more severe accusations.

Stan Lee passed away in 2018 at the age of 95 due to a heart attack.

The comprehensive Business Insider interview delves into J.C. Lee's experiences growing up in the shadow of her father's fame, her financial struggles, the manipulation she faced from others, feelings of loneliness, her creative endeavors, and the ongoing impact of her father's legacy.
