Japanese Rhythm Game Kamitsubaki City Ensemble Drops Soon On Android

Kamitsubaki City Ensemble: A Post-Apocalyptic Rhythm Game Set to Launch

Studio Lalala's upcoming rhythm game, Kamitsubaki City Ensemble, is poised for release on August 29th, 2024. Available on Android, iOS, PC, Switch, and other consoles for a budget-friendly $3 (440 Yen), this title promises a unique blend of rhythm gameplay and post-apocalyptic narrative.

A World Rebuilt Through Melody

The game unfolds in a world ravaged by destruction. Hope rests on the shoulders of AI girls, survivors tasked with restoring the world through the power of music. As you progress, the story behind the apocalypse and the AI girls' existence will gradually unravel. Your role is to uncover the truth and assist these girls in their musical reconstruction efforts.

Gameplay and Features

Kamitsubaki City Ensemble features five AI girls and five witches, each contributing to the vibrant rhythm experience. Players will enjoy four difficulty levels (easy, normal, hard, and pro), starting with four lanes and escalating to seven for a challenging experience. The base game boasts 48 songs, with a season pass offering a continuous stream of new musical additions.

The game's soundtrack is a highlight, featuring tracks from Kamitsubaki Studio and the Musical Isotope series, including popular songs like "Devour the Past," "Carnivorous Plant," "Sirius's Heart," and "Terra."
