Apex ALGS Year 4 Championships to be Held in Sapporo, Japan from Jan. 29 to Feb. 2, 2025
The Apex Legends Global Series Year 4 Championships is set to be an unforgettable event, taking place in the picturesque city of Sapporo, Japan. From January 29 to February 2, 2025, the Daiwa House PREMIST DOME will host 40 teams of elite players vying for the title of the next Apex Legends global champion.This tournament marks a significant milestone as the first ALGS offline event to be held in Asia, following previous events in the US, UK, Sweden, and Germany. In their announcement, EA highlighted the special nature of this year, stating, "This year will be extra special as we are having our first LAN event in APAC."
John Nelson, EA's senior director of Esports, expressed enthusiasm about hosting the event in Japan, noting the strong community support: "ALGS has a very large community in Japan, and we have seen many comments calling for an offline event in Japan. That's why we couldn't be more pleased to celebrate this milestone with an offline tournament held at the iconic Daiwa House Premist Dome."
