CES 2025 has undoubtedly stirred excitement in the tech world, particularly in the mobile gaming sector. One of the standout announcements was the introduction of the AI-generated "CPC" or Co-Playable Character, unveiled by PUBG's Krafton on January 8th. Unlike traditional NPCs, CPCs are powered by generative AI, enhancing gameplay in both PUBG and inZOI.

The implementation of this innovation in inZOI, dubbed "Smart Zoi," promises to bring a new level of emotional depth and personality to the characters, making interactions within the simulation more lifelike and engaging.

For PUBG players, the "PUBG Ally" will adapt and evolve strategies alongside players, adding a dynamic element to the game. Whether this feature is thrilling or unsettling depends on individual perspectives.

Crafted in partnership with NVIDIA ACECrafted in partnership with NVIDIA ACE, this new concept enables real-time conversations with players, adapting to the current in-game scenarios. Kangwook Lee, Head of the Deep Learning Division at Krafton, stated, “Our collaboration with NVIDIA is a testament to the transformative potential of AI in gaming, and we plan to work closely together to push the boundaries of what is possible."
