Honkai Impact 3rd's v8.0 update, In Search of the Sun, arrives January 9th, introducing Durandal's new battlesuit, Reign Solaris, and a host of exciting additions.
Reign Solaris: A Dual-Form Powerhouse
Durandal's latest battlesuit is an IMG-type Physical DMG dealer boasting two distinct forms: Rampager and Skyrider. Rampager mode unleashes a whirlwind of javelin attacks, while Skyrider mode sees Durandal soaring on a hoverboard, delivering rapid-fire combos. Her ultimate involves a sky-high launch, followed by a devastating javelin strike.
New Gear and Stigma Set
Reign Solaris receives dedicated weaponry: the Valorous Effulgence weapon and its PRI-ARM upgrade, New Voyage. These enhance QTEs and provide additional javelins. A new stigma set, Illuminating the Universe, depicts Durandal's parallel universe escapades, featuring soccer, bands, skateboarding, and more.

Main Story Expansion and New Events
Chapter VII, Part 2: Bouquets of Unfulfilled Wishes, returns to Mars, continuing Dreamseeker's investigation into the Ten Shus War. Players will delve deeper into Coralie's fate and encounter a character linked to the mysterious eye in Helia's mind.
A new cube puzzle game, featuring Vita and young Durandal as Cube-ianka, offers rewards including 60 million Crystals and Source Prisms.
The Countdown: To Sweet Dreams event brings comedic encounters with Mei, Theresa, Fu Hua, Herrscher of Sentience, Griseo, Carole, and Vita. This event includes a boss fight involving dodging drumsticks and rhythmic counterattacks, commanding followers in battles, and even monster training. Rewards include emblems, Crystals, Source Prisms, and Senadina's new outfit, Steering Inequations.
