Heavy Metal, one of the most iconic and influential anthology magazines in the comic world, is set to make a thrilling comeback to comic book shops. After a highly successful crowdfunding campaign, the new volume of Heavy Metal will launch on Wednesday, April 30, much to the delight of fans and collectors alike.

The inaugural issue of the new Heavy Metal volume brings together a blend of seasoned creators and fresh talents, including new tales featuring the beloved Heavy Metal icon, Taarna. Below is the complete lineup of stories and their creators featured in the first issue:

Heavy Metal #1 is set for a substantial print run of 73,000 copies, marking it as the most extensively printed issue in the series in several decades. Priced at $14.99, the issue spans a hefty 232 pages, offering a rich tapestry of stories and art.

You can grab your copy of Heavy Metal #1 at comic shops starting April 30, with newsstands following on May 13. Future issues are slated for quarterly release, but the publisher hints at the possibility of a more frequent schedule should demand warrant it.
