The Emerald Dream, a magical yet treacherous realm, opens its gates in Hearthstone on March 25th. This expansion introduces 145 new cards, exciting new mechanics, and powerful legendary Wild Gods, promising a thrilling new chapter in the game.
What Awaits in the Emerald Dream?
Ysera's serene Emerald Dream, the heart of nature magic, faces a grave threat. Players will choose a side: defend its beauty or embrace the encroaching chaos.
The expansion introduces the Imbue keyword. For Druids, Hunters, Mages, Paladins, Priests, and Shamans, the World Tree bestows its blessings. Playing an Imbue card transforms your Hero Power, growing stronger with each subsequent Imbue card played. Hunters, for example, receive the Blessing of the Wolf. Other classes, unfortunately, will not benefit from the Imbue mechanic.
Alternatively, those embracing darkness can pledge allegiance to the Old Gods. The Dark Gifts keyword offers twisted power to Death Knights, Demon Hunters, Rogues, Warlocks, and Warriors. These potent enhancements, often paired with Discover options, create terrifying minions capable of devastating opponents. Ten unique Dark Gifts await discovery within The Emerald Dream.

The expansion also features the Wild Gods—legendary minions representing colossal forces of nature. Each class receives a Wild God to champion, some corrupted, creating a compelling conflict between those protecting the Dream and those plunging it into Nightmare.
