*Pokemon Sleep* enthusiasts have reason to celebrate this holiday season with the announcement of a new winter holiday event in December 2024. Alongside the returning Eevee in a festive Santa hat, players will have the chance to encounter two delightful new additions: Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix.

When Do Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix Debut in Pokemon Sleep?

Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix will make their debut in *Pokemon Sleep* during the December 2024 Holiday Dream Shard Research event, which runs the week of December 23. This event not only introduces these adorable Pokemon but also offers various bonuses to enhance sleep research and collect extra Dream Shards. The excitement peaks with increased chances of encountering Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix, and as with all debuting Pokemon in *Pokemon Sleep*, their Shiny versions will be available from the start.

Pawmi will start appearing at 3 PM on December 23. You can find it on Greengrass Isle, Snowdrop Tundra, and Old Gold Power Plant, with a boosted chance during its debut event. Pawmi, along with its evolutions Pawmo and Pawmot, belongs to the Snoozing sleep type. To evolve Pawmi into Pawmo and Pawmot, use Candies, but you can only study their sleep styles when you encounter them in the wild.

Players who achieve a Snoozing type during their night of Sleep Research have the best chance of encountering Pawmi, Pawmo, and Pawmot. The Snoozing type represents a light sleep, easier to achieve than the Dozing type. The Balanced Sleep Type, which evenly combines all three sleep types, may also attract Pawmi, though your chances are lower due to the type's diversity.

Alolan Vulpix will also begin appearing at 3 PM on December 23. This elusive ice-type Pokemon will only appear on Snowdrop Tundra. Both Alolan Vulpix and its evolved form, Alolan Ninetails, have a Slumbering sleep type.

To increase your chances of encountering these ice-type Pokemon, you'll need to achieve a deep sleep, which can be challenging as it requires at least 8 hours of uninterrupted rest. Like Pawmi, Alolan Vulpix and Alolan Ninetails can also appear with the Balanced Sleep type, but this is less common.

To maximize your chances of encountering both Alolan Vulpix and Pawmi, head to Snowdrop Tundra during the Winter Holiday 2024 event in *Pokemon Sleep*. This is the only island where both Pokemon can be found. Be prepared, though, as Snowdrop Tundra requires a strong team, so it's wise to train your Snowdrop team in advance to fully enjoy this winter event.
