In *Monster Hunter Wilds*, the adventure extends beyond just battling the fiercest beasts. If you're aiming to secure the A Prize Held High trophy or achievement, here's your step-by-step guide to success.

How to Unlock the A Prize Held High Trophy/Achievement in Monster Hunter Wilds

Contrary to what the trophy's name might suggest, you won't be tangling with dragons or wyverns for this one. Your target is the elusive Curioshell Crab, which you can capture using the Capture Net.

Finding the Curioshell Crab can be challenging as it's scattered across various maps. Our go-to spot has been the Scarlet Forest. Start from the base camp and head towards Area 6: Flowering Rocks pop-up camp, nestled between Areas 2 and 6.

Once you reach the Flowering Rocks, focus on the nearby puddle of water, a prime spawning spot for the Curioshell Crab. If you're having trouble spotting it, Alma can assist you. She'll mention if a creature nearby is holding something, signaling the presence of a Curioshell Crab.

Equip your Capture Net, aim carefully until the reticle turns orange, and then fire to capture the crab. A successful capture not only nets you the Curioshell Crab but also an Ancient Wyvern Coin.

The Curioshell Crab is known for its swift movements, so anticipate its path and aim ahead to ensure a successful capture. Besides the Scarlet Forest, you might also find it in Area 13 of the Windward Plains or Area 8 of the Scarlet Forest. Keep in mind, it could appear in other map areas as well, but these locations have proven reliable in our experience.
