Get ready, racing fans! Assetto Corsa EVO, from Kunos Simulazioni Studios, hits Steam Early Access on January 16, 2025!
Initially, expect 20 meticulously detailed cars and 5 iconic tracks: Imola, Brands Hatch, Bathurst, Laguna Seca, and Suzuka. Even in Early Access, the developers promise stunning physics, precise handling, and incredibly realistic car behavior.
A standout feature is the free-roam mode. A major summer 2025 update will introduce a massive, laser-scanned open world encompassing the legendary Nürburgring and its surrounding roads – a staggering 1600 square kilometers, set to expand further.
Assetto Corsa EVO boldly positions itself as a top-tier car simulator, aiming to rival industry heavyweights like Gran Turismo and Forza Motorsport. This is achieved through photorealistic visuals and cutting-edge physics.
The launch version will boast 100 vehicles and 15 tracks, with more to come via free post-launch updates. Each circuit will accurately reflect real-world conditions, from tire wear to wet surfaces, enhanced by realistic animated spectators.
Developers have refined car dynamics, suspension, and shock absorption. Early Access will include Driving Academy mode, featuring timed challenges on the included tracks, ultimately leading to a license unlocking access to the game's most prestigious vehicles. This will be one of the main single-player focuses at launch.
