Oriol Cosp has officially released Gods vs Horrors, a new single-player roguelike that combines elements from Slay the Spire and Super Auto Pets. This card autobattler challenges you to build powerful synergies among your gods as you confront various horrors in your role as the Warden of Realms. Essentially, the fate of the world lies in your hands—no pressure, right?
In Gods vs Horrors, you'll strategize optimal positioning for your recruited gods, enhancing them across different mythologies while boosting your Devotion level to unlock even more deities.
The game presents a choice between short-term and long-term benefits: will you spend Divine Essence to strengthen your powers immediately, or save it to increase your Devotion level for future advantages?

Online footage suggests the game takes cues from Hearthstone's Battlegrounds mode and incorporates touches of Balatro, featuring a diverse collection of 170 gods and various relics to experiment with. The horrors are indeed terrifying, and you'll face six distinct bosses, each with unique environmental effects to overcome. Saving the world is no simple feat.
