Fuecoco Takes Center Stage in March's First Community Day
Pokémon GO has announced that Fuecoco will be the star of the first Community Day in March, scheduled for March 8, 2025. From 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time, you'll spot Fuecoco more frequently on your map, with an increased chance of encountering its Shiny form.
Evolving Fuecoco into Skeledirge via Crocalor during the event window lets you teach it the Charged Attack Blast Burn, but remember, you've only got a week post-event to do so. Skeledirge can also learn Torch Song without any time limits.
Don't miss out on the Special Background Timed Research, which offers a Fuecoco encounter with a Seasonal Special Background. Completing these tasks boosts your chances of finding Shiny Fuecoco and can be done until March 15, 2025, at 10:00 pm local time.
For a small fee of $2.00, you can also access the exclusive Community Day Special Research, which includes three Fuecoco encounters with a Seasonal Special Background, along with Battle Pass and Rare Candies. This ticket can even be gifted to friends at the Great Friends level and above.
Pokémon GO Reveals Community Days Schedule for March and Beyond
In addition to highlighting Fuecoco, Pokémon GO has unveiled the schedule for Community Days from March to May 2025, all set for weekends:

Community Day Classic events bring back beloved Pokémon like Ralts, giving you another chance to catch them. The other dates will introduce new Pokémon, though their identities are still under wraps.
Beloved Buddies Event Kicks Off on February 11, 2025
The Beloved Buddies event, launching on February 11, 2025, introduces Dhelmise and offers Timed Research that splits into two paths: one with Candela of Team Valor and the other with Arlo of Team GO Rocket.
Initial tasks before choosing a path reward you with Ultra Balls and encounters with Remoraid and Mantine. Then, decide between:
- Candela Path: Strengthen your bond with your Buddy Pokémon and Candela. Rewards include Poffins, Stardust, Ultra Balls, and encounters with Luvdisc, Shellder, and Rapidash.
- Arlo Path: Focus on catching Pokémon and battling Arlo. Rewards include Pocket Radar, Stardust, Ultra Balls, and encounters with Cubone, Slowpoke, and Scizor.
