Quick Links

The Cell Garden is a crucial area in your Panopticon that you'll encounter early in the main storyline of Freedom Wars Remastered. This safe haven becomes a valuable resource farming spot once you've navigated through the initial quest. As you progress, you'll discover multiple Cell Gardens across various levels, and the method to find each remains consistent regardless of your current level. Let's delve into how to locate any Cell Garden and understand their mechanics for effective resource farming.

Where To Find Cell Garden Entrances In Freedom Wars Remastered

Your journey to the Cell Garden begins with a mission from Mattias, who sends you to investigate a ghost girl story. Start by heading to the main cell block on Level 2, specifically 2-A000. From your cell, glance to the left corner where you'll spot a small room resembling an elevator. Interact with this room to be transported to 2-E165, the same area where you previously encountered Enzo.

Upon entering 2-E165, veer right along the wall to reach another small room equipped with a device that will take you to 2-G100. Finally, in 2-G100, the device in the farthest room will lead you directly to the Cell Garden.

This path to the Cell Garden is uniform across all levels, and acquiring the Quick-Travel Entitlement can significantly reduce the time spent traveling. Once you've completed the main quest related to the Cell Garden, you gain access to visit it or any other Cell Garden at your convenience. However, there's a beneficial Entitlement you should consider obtaining first.

Each device that transports you to the next room or the Cell Garden is clearly marked with a blue door icon above it, making them easy to identify.

How Does The Cell Garden Work In Freedom Wars Remastered

The initial story mission that introduces you to the Cell Garden differs from its regular functionality. Here's how the Cell Garden operates during your subsequent visits:

  • You're given a strict one-minute window before being ejected.
  • The room's layout changes each time, adding a layer of unpredictability.
  • You'll find eight resources scattered across the room, each marked by small green orbs.

To enhance your time in the Cell Garden, consider purchasing Entitlements from the Window on Liberty. These can extend your stay, with the first upgrade allowing you to remain for two minutes, available once you reach CODE level 3. This upgrade is particularly useful as some layouts feature more complex puzzles, which can challenge your resource collection efforts.
