Freedom Wars Remastered: Expanding Your Combat Item Arsenal
Freedom Wars Remastered offers diverse loadout options, but Combat Items, crucial consumables with varied uses, are often limited. This guide addresses how to equip more and where to acquire them.
How to Equip More Combat Items
Initially, you can only equip one Combat Item. To increase this limit, you need Entitlements. In your cell, access the "Window On Liberty" and select "Claim Entitlements." Navigate to the "Equipment" section, then scroll to the "One-Item Permit." Subsequent permits, allowing up to four Combat Items, are unlocked sequentially. These permits become available quickly, usually by CODE level 3. Equipping a Combat Item automatically equips your entire stack. For example, equipping a Frag Grenade will use all currently held grenades at the operation's start. Note that your Accessory slot can also hold one Combat Item for independent use.
Where to Get More Combat Items
After progressing through the early missions, access "The Warren" hub. Within The Warren, on the upper level's right side, find "Zakka," a store offering Munitions and Medical Supplies.
- Munitions: Combat items that directly inflict damage.
- Medical Supplies: Items for healing, ailment cure, or ammo replenishment.
Combat Items are purchased individually; bulk buying can be expensive in Entitlement Points. While Operations sometimes reward Combat Items, this isn't a reliable farming method due to the time investment and potential consumption exceeding gains.
