Beyond the standard Godzilla skin obtainable through the battle pass, players can acquire a store bundle featuring Mechagodzilla and Kong skins. This bundle will also include unique jetpacks and pickaxes designed to complement each character.
A new boss event will launch concurrently on January 17th. One player will transform into a giant Godzilla, utilizing iconic abilities like atomic breath. Players must collaborate to defeat the colossal creature. The individual inflicting the most damage will receive a medallion granting a special ability.
The Mechagodzilla and Kong bundle will be available in the Fortnite item shop at the usual time and includes:
- Kong: 1500 V-bucks
- Mechagodzilla: 1800 V-bucks
- Two Pickaxes: 800 V-bucks each
- One Emote: 400 V-bucks
- Two Wraps: 500 V-bucks each
- Complete Bundle: 2800 V-bucks
Meanwhile, the Fortnite universe continues to attract a diverse range of collaborators. A potential collaboration with the virtual singer Hatsune Miku is hinted at through intriguing social media interactions. The official Hatsune Miku account reported a missing backpack, to which the Fortnite Festival account responded affirmatively, suggesting the backpack's acquisition.
This collaboration may include not only a standard Hatsune Miku skin but also a stylized pickaxe and a variation of the "Miku the Catgirl" skin, along with a virtual concert featuring the popular Vocaloid.
