Tekken 8 Season 2: Anna Williams Arrives, Future DLC Unveiled, and Sales Figures Revealed
Bandai Namco has dropped a new trailer for Tekken 8's Season 2, spotlighting the return of Anna Williams. The trailer showcases her updated moveset, stylish new costumes, and a special intro sequence featuring a unique cutscene if her sister, Nina, is the opponent.
Anna Williams will be the inaugural character of Season 2, launching March 31st for those who own the Character Year 2 Pass. General release for all players is slated for April 3rd.
Beyond Anna's arrival, the trailer hints at a substantial content roadmap for 2025 and early 2026, including:
- Summer 2025: A new fighter and a new arena.
- Fall 2025: A new fighter.
- Winter 2025/2026: A new fighter and a new arena.
In other news, Bandai Namco announced that Tekken 8 has already surpassed 3 million copies sold. This represents a significantly faster sales trajectory compared to its predecessor, which has amassed over 12 million copies sold to date.
Tekken 8 launched on January 26th, 2024, and is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam).
