- New Control Options: ROME: Total War now boasts three new control modes: Positioning Mode, Melee Mode, and Automatic Deselection. These options enhance your command over units and make battles more precise. You can now simply tap and hold to move your army, agents, or fleets, eliminating the need to manually drag paths.
- Positioning Mode: Fine-tune your unit placements with ease by tapping and holding. The Group Grid feature also simplifies managing unit groups with a collapsible selection menu.
- Melee Mode: This mode allows ranged units to seamlessly switch to close combat when the situation demands it.
