In the vast world of *Monster Hunter Wilds*, resources are plentiful, but some, like Sharp Fangs, prove more elusive. This guide will help you locate and efficiently farm these crucial crafting materials.

---------------------------------------------
Sharp Fangs are early-game crafting components found in the Windward Plains. They're essential for crafting beginner-level gear sets like Chatacabra and Talioth armor. Access them early through optional quests like "Beware the Chatacabra" or "The Desert is Demanding," providing a generous 50-minute time limit. Remember to eat a meal beforehand for a boost!
Head east towards Area 8, the largest area in the Windward Plains, teeming with smaller monsters. While several creatures here drop Sharp Fangs, one stands out:
Gaijos

Gaijos, crocodile-like leviathans, are usually found near or in riverbeds. Their location is indicated by purple diamonds on your map near water sources. These relatively weak monsters are easily dispatched, guaranteeing a single Sharp Fang upon carving their carcass.

With four to five Gaijos typically spawning in the Windward Plains, and the ability to easily re-enter the area via optional quests, farming Sharp Fangs from Gaijos is highly efficient.
Talioth

Another source, though not guaranteed, is the Talioth. These bipedal creatures roam in packs, primarily in Areas 8 and 13. While slightly tougher than Gaijos, they're still manageable with early-game weapons. While they primarily drop Talioth Scales, there's a chance for Sharp Fangs. Conveniently, hunting Talioths also helps complete the "The Desert is Demanding" quest.
