How to Beat All Monsters in E.R.P.O.
New monsters are frequently added to E.R.P.O., so it's a good idea to bookmark this page for the latest updates and strategies. Below, you'll find detailed guides on how to handle each monster. While there's a general strategy for confronting these creatures, you also have the option to use various weapons:
- Melee Combat: From the Machete to the Hammer, these can be purchased in the shop for 10k to 20k cash. They'll appear in your next level, ready for you to pick up with M1 and use to swing at monsters. However, be cautious when facing ranged attackers like the Huntsman. A hit-and-run tactic is advisable to minimize melee damage. Don't forget to bring healing packs for safety.
- Grenades and Mines: Available in the shop, Grenades can be picked up with M1, uncorked with E, and then thrown or left to explode for massive damage. They're perfect for dealing with weaker monsters or severely damaging stronger ones. Mines operate similarly but require strategic placement to catch monsters off guard.
- Monster Brawl: You can cleverly use one monster against another. Lure a Huntsman to shoot at another monster by running behind it and making noise with your footsteps or voice chat. Similarly, you can manipulate Reapers during their attack to collide with other monsters, causing mutual damage.
Robe Guide (Ghost)

The Robe, a shadowy figure, can be deadly if you let it get close. Avoid contact at all costs, as it will grab and damage you. Crouch to hide or keep kiting it around. You can take it down with 2 Grenades or 2 Mines by luring it towards you. Melee combat is not recommended due to the high damage Robe inflicts. Be aware, it teleports and speeds up when you look at its mask.
Reaper Guide

The Reaper, with its sword arms, spins to deal melee damage. While it can be kited or avoided like the Robe, it doesn't teleport, making it easier to handle. Melee weapons are more effective against the Reaper due to its lower damage output. A single grenade and a couple of hits can take it down, and grenades and mines can stun it, giving you an advantage.
Apex Predator Guide (Duck)

Don't be fooled by their cute appearance—these ducks are non-hostile until provoked. They'll follow you peacefully until you grab or harm them, at which point they'll become aggressive, flying and biting with low damage but relentless pursuit. Your best strategy is to outrun them or use melee weapons to eliminate them. Grenades are overkill due to their low HP.
Huntsman

The Huntsman, armed with a one-shot gun, is blind but can hear you if you speak near him or move quickly. Crouch and hide under tables to avoid detection. Avoid melee combat as the Huntsman has auto-aim and can instantly kill you. Instead, strategically place a mine for it to step on or throw a grenade while crouched. The explosion will temporarily deafen the Huntsman, giving you a window to attack with melee weapons.
