Pokémon GO's Adventure Week 2024: A Rock-Solid Event!
Get ready for another thrilling Adventure Week in Pokémon GO, running from Friday, August 2nd, 10 am to Monday, August 12th! This year's event focuses on Rock-type and Fossil Pokémon, offering abundant opportunities to catch these powerful creatures.
What to Expect:
Prepare for increased wild encounters with Rock-type Pokémon like Diglett and Bunnelby, and a boosted chance to find Shiny Aerodactyl! These ancient Pokémon will also hatch from 7 km Eggs and appear in event-themed Field Research tasks. The 7 km Eggs hold a treasure trove of Fossil Pokémon including Cranidos, Shieldon, Tirtouga, Archen, Tyrunt, and Amaura. Completing Field Research tasks also grants encounters with these Pokémon and rewards like Aerodactyl Mega Energy.
Level up your XP gains! Spin PokéStops for double XP, with a massive five times XP bonus for your first daily spin. Hatching Pokémon also yields double XP during the event.
Beyond the Basics:
Adventure Week brings exciting new PokéStop Showcases and Collection Challenges, rewarding you with Stardust, Pokémon encounters, and more Aerodactyl Mega Energy. Five-star raids featuring Moltres, Thundurus Incarnate Forme, and Xerneas add extra challenge and rewards.
