Upgrade Locations: Workbenches at Party Camps
Weapon and armor upgrades are performed at Workbenches, located at Party Camps. Establish a Party Camp by interacting with an Adra Waystone; these are scattered throughout the game world. Once established, Party Camps are marked on your map with a tent icon, enabling fast travel.
Understanding Weapon and Armor Levels
Gear power is determined by two factors: Quality and additional upgrade tiers.

Quality: Represented by a numerical value, color rarity (Green, Blue, Purple, Red, Gold), and descriptive adjective. Lower Quality gear is less effective against higher-level enemies.

Additional Upgrades (+0 to +3): Within each Quality level, three additional upgrade tiers enhance stats. All three must be completed before advancing to the next Quality.
Prioritizing Unique Gear
Avowed features two gear types: standard and unique. Standard gear is readily available but has lower upgrade potential (maxing out at Superb Quality). Unique gear, often acquired through quests or boss encounters, boasts superior stats, perks, and can reach Legendary Quality.
Upgrade Strategy: Focus your resources on upgrading Unique weapons and armor. Standard gear serves as a temporary placeholder and should be sold or salvaged for crafting materials.
