Author : Ethan Apr 23,2025

Elliot Page, star of the acclaimed PlayStation and Quantic Dream game *Beyond: Two Souls*, is set to bring the story-driven adventure to the small screen. Through his production company, Pageboy Productions, Page has secured the rights to adapt the video game into a TV series, marking a new chapter for the beloved narrative.

According to Deadline, the project is in the early stages of development. The team aims to preserve the game's unique non-linear storytelling, which captivated players with its emotional depth and complex narrative structure. While details such as casting and release dates remain under wraps, the anticipation for this adaptation is already building.

Reflecting on his experience, Page shared with Deadline that filming *Beyond: Two Souls* was one of the most challenging yet fulfilling roles of his career. He expressed enthusiasm about the project, saying, "The story's rich narrative and emotional depth offer us a fantastic foundation. We want to create a unique vision of the characters and their journeys that resonates with fans and newcomers."

Matt Jordan Smitt, head of development and production at Pageboy, emphasized the team's commitment to honoring the game's legacy while introducing new perspectives. He highlighted the story's focus on survival and the impact of split-second decisions, which are central to the narrative's appeal.

Originally released for the PlayStation 3 in 2013, *Beyond: Two Souls* later became available on PlayStation 4 and PC in 2015 and 2019, respectively. Directed and written by Quantic Dream's David Cage, the game follows Jodie Holmes, a young woman with psychic abilities connected to a spirit named Aiden. The narrative's non-linear structure and the inclusion of high-profile actors like Page and Willem Dafoe contributed to its success.

David Cage, who is collaborating with Page on the TV series, expressed excitement about the project. "We are absolutely thrilled to collaborate again with Elliot Page on this project," Cage stated. "I was blown away by his acting performance in the game, and I couldn’t think of anyone else to tell this story with the same passion on another medium. *Beyond: Two Souls* is a very special game for millions of players around the world who were moved by the story of Jodie and Aiden, and their journey in life and beyond. I know that Elliot has all the talent and instinct to make it something really unique on TV."
