Announced back in June 2020 with occasional teasers, skate. is finally ready for playtesting on PlayStation and Xbox. While there's no confirmed start date for the PC beta yet, you can still register as an Insider to stay updated on all the latest news.

According to the game's official X (formerly Twitter) account, console playtesting has been underway since at least December, and possibly as early as September, as evidenced by a highlight reel. Developer Full Circle continues to invite fans to sign up for playtesting, as the game is still in active development.

To participate in the beta, head over to EA's official website and navigate to the skate. page to register for Skate Insider Playtesting. By joining as a tester, or Insider, you'll not only get early access to the game but also earn exclusive rewards like an in-game skateboard and stickers upon the Early Access launch.

skate. is slated for an Early Access release in 2025. This latest installment in the franchise arrives almost a decade after Skate 3 and will be available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Set in the fictional city of San Vansterdam, skate. is designed to be a free-to-play, live-service game that promises an "authentic evolution" of the nearly 20-year-old series, as shared by Full Circle in a previous YouTube interview.
