Netflix is developing a live-action Dungeons & Dragons series based on the Forgotten Realms setting, according to Deadline. The project, one of Netflix's largest fantasy TV investments, will be spearheaded by Shawn Levy (director of Deadpool and Wolverine), writer-showrunner Drew Crevello (WeCrashed), and Hasbro. While Netflix and Hasbro haven't confirmed the news, Deadline reports that Crevello has penned the pilot episode. The series has the potential to launch a broader D&D universe on the streaming platform.
