Author : Charlotte May 13,2025

Developer Dream Dock has unveiled Dreadmoor, a thrilling new first-person single-player action-adventure game drawing inspiration from the 2023 hit Dredge. In Dreadmoor, players will embark on a journey aboard a fishing trawler, navigating through the eerie, post-apocalyptic waters of the Drownlands. The game promises a rich mix of activities including fishing, battling monstrous creatures, crafting items, upgrading your vessel, and uncovering the dark secrets that lurk beneath the waves. Currently in development for PC, you can watch the announcement trailer and view the first screenshots in the gallery below.

Dream Dock paints a vivid picture of Dreadmoor: "Take the helm of a fishing trawler and venture into a world reshaped by nuclear war, where continents have vanished beneath the sea, leaving behind a scattered archipelago and the submerged remnants of ancient civilizations. Engage with survivors by selling your catch, undertake quests, and inch closer to survival. Be vigilant about your ship's cargo hold—predatory creatures may feast on your haul! Enhance your ship and craft equipment to delve into hidden depths and uncover secret locales. The waters are teeming with mutated beasts and shrouded in sinister mysteries, particularly at night. And remember, radiation poses an ever-present threat in this treacherous environment…"
